In her words:
“I knew I always wanted to do something in health/medicine. I’d talked about being a pediatrician since I was a little girl. When I was in high school I became certified as a nursing assistant and worked as a physical therapy aide in a PT department of a hospital. I loved it, so I went to college to become a physical therapist.
“While I was waiting to apply to physical therapy school, I took a job in a chiropractic office. From my first day there I fell in love with the concept of chiropractic. It really mixed my love for health and taking care of people with having a real connection and being part of helping people on their journeys to health and wellness.
“Within a few years of being a chiropractor I realized that young people were coming in with such chronic conditions, pain, and sickness. I couldn't help but think that if I could have started working on these patients when they were young, or right after their first injury, maybe they could be in a better place now. So that is when I began my journey to study and discover all I could about chiropractic and children.
